The “fourth trimester” (first three months after birth) is a powerful time of transition as you get to know both your new baby and your new self as a mother. This chapter also comes with its fair share of uncertainty and overwhelm. MESH moms connects you with other new parents for collaborative camaraderie as you sort out how you will feed, bathe, dress, schedule and otherwise care for your newest family member.
As soon as you’ve gotten the hang of newborn care, your baby’s needs start to change. As soon as you’ve gotten the hang of newborn care, your baby’s needs start to change. The MESH moms community is a rich resource for advice and inspiration as you make decisions for your growing baby’s well being (Is sleep training the right approach for your family? How and when will you start solid foods?) and your own (Will you go back to work? Do any of your personal relationships need to shift?).
When they’re off and running, but before they land in preschool, the collective wisdom of MESH moms who are similarly wondering about potty training,
enrichment activities, and the ever-evolving nap schedule will see you through this non-stop phase of your toddler’s exploration.
Based on the age of your child, your neighborhood, and other affinities, MESH moms organizes playgroups that meet regularly for stroller walks, coffee dates, park hang outs for babies, playground meet ups for older kids, etc. Our current Atlanta-area neighborhood groups include Alpharetta, Dunwoody, Roswell, Buckhead, Brookhaven, Cobb, Dekalb, Gwinnett, and Midtown.
Our various peer groups each have a private chat thread for ongoing conversation, making it easy to ask for recommendations on pediatricians, how to best travel with little ones, advice on when to drop the night feed, etc.
Once a month, we gather the entire MESH moms community for social events such as: Girls just wanna have lunch, Mom’s Night Out, and more. We also host special events such as our fun-filled Kids’ Carnival, a comprehensive Preschool Fair, and other community-wide gatherings.
Judgment-free classes taught by experts on topics such as breastfeeding, sleep training, infant CPR, kids & technology and more are intended to help you make your own informed decisions about these and other relevant topics. Classes are offered in-person and/or online.
By posting on our forum you can reach the entire MESH moms community and ask questions, seek advice, and offer support. Our online portal lets you recommend and find childcare resources, list your gently-used baby gear, sign up for events, connect with other members, and more.
Our Mom Pods are a series of small group sessions dedicated to the unique needs of first time moms and their newborn babies. Limited to eight participants and facilitated by an expert group leader, Mom Pods are available for an additional fee. The first pod will take place early next year.

Motherhood was never intended to be done alone… No society has ever isolated its families quite like modern Western culture, so MESH moms offers a counterpoint, a point of connection.
We emphasize relationships so strongly because we believe they are the web - the mesh - that support us through the challenges and celebrate us through the wins. Raising a family is an ever-evolving process, and being connected to a community of moms on the same journey is an invaluable resource. And often the foundation of lifelong friendships, both for you and your little ones.
